Continue reading Upcoming Exhibits & Publications: Infected By Art IX, Mo(ve)mentIt’s been a hot July so far! This doesn’t necessarily mean that I’ve been slowing down with my art at all, which you can absolutely follow on Instagram or Facebook.
Still, I wanted to let my friendly readers know about a giveaway I’m running and my latest upcoming project in case they missed it!

Back in 2014, Flint made headlines for the massive screw up that put residents in their current situation: the switching of their public drinking water to a different source, which culminated in residents’ tap water being contaminated with dangerous levels of lead. After a variety of governmental missteps that included high-level arrests for deception and misconduct, among other things, the residents of Flint, Michigan still don’t have clean water to drink.
This is the United States of America we are talking about, not a third world country in need of foreign aid. Our residents here at home can’t go to their faucet and pour a cup of water for themselves, their family, or their pets without ingesting dangerous levels of lead. According to the World Health Organization:
There is no known level of lead exposure that is considered safe.

Lead can sit and deposit in the human body until levels become critically unsafe, resulting in coma, convulsions, or even death. In children it can cause learning disabilities, reduced attention span, and even brain damage.
I am happy to contribute even a tiny amount to this zine, #Dogs for Flint, which aims to raise money for Flint, Michigan to help address their still persistent water problem. All proceeds will go to Little Miss Flint’s gofundme campaign. I am proud to have my work alongside all of these fantastic artists in this zine constructed by Joy Yang.
This limited time zine will be available for purchase until August 8th, 2019. Get yours now!
“AstroExponential” is to be published alongside many other wonderful stories and artworks in Driftwood Press’ Volume Two: Issue Two. I will also have a short artist interview published. You can pre-order your copy today using this link.
