Pricing

I am transparent about my book cover pricing. I charge an hourly fee of $100/hr for my illustrative services. Artworks are completed via a mixed-medium graphite and digitalized color approach, or 100% digitally, depending on the desired look and feel. All artworks are guaranteed LLM/AI free.

Front covers are estimated to take 10 to 15 hours to complete, whereas wraparounds can take anywhere from 10 to 30 hours to complete, depending on subject matter. You are free to ask me for typography, or simply commission the illustration and have a typographer finish the typography.

All cover projects are protected via contract with applicable terms regarding time frame/deadline, outline of ideas, payment calendar, rights, declaration of non-generative AI use, and other terms. Turnaround time is minimum 30 days, but subject to availability. By default, all commissioned covers come with limited use rights for use of book/title publishing and promotion non-inclusive of for-profit merchandise. If you would like to purchase all rights, expect to pay a substantial all-rights licensing fee.
