Cards of the Fence is a fan-drawn Coheed & Cambria major arcana tarot deck based around the Coheed & Cambria lore and universe. It was a labor of love amongst a variety of artists, both traditional and digital, that spanned from early 2022 to the end of 2023.

Decks went through a pre-order period from August 2023 to October 2023, with the final decks being shipped out in November 2023. Deck retailed at $65 and featured a hard box (with plenty of room in it for a supplemental minor arcana deck), full color fronts, and a spot UV back with “disappearing” dragonfly pattern. Artists received payments for their artworks in the deck and were paid according to how many cards they created.

In 2025, after multiple people asked for extras or a reprint, I decided to seek permission from the artists to run a reprint on this deck. I received the reprint permission. I always felt a little sad that we couldn’t complete the whole deck, but trying to go back in and make an additional 56 cards would take years. People have jobs and lives and trying to rush through to create 56 more cards would be a massive undertaking, and at the time, 3 years ago, after everything the project went through, I just wanted to see it printed. We made that happen! After 3 years of people begging and badgering me about getting more copies of the decks, I decided… Well, what could a little minor arcana hurt?

I worked to draw these wire frame minor arcana cards to match the frame and back of the cards, fleshing out the entire deck to a full and complete tarot card deck. Pre-orders opened June 15th, 2026, and will close July 15th, 2026 for this deck or the supplemental minor deck attached to it.
