Untitled Azra Quick Sketch

This isn’t exactly a polished or completed work by any means. I set out originally to do a true “speedpaint” (when you draw a picture as quickly as you can) out of a sketch I had that I liked a lot. Unfortunately I took a little longer (about 3 hours) than I intended, but I like how it came out. I also filmed myself painting it!

Hypnopompic Hallucination Animated Gif

March 16, 2016

You may recall this deck from my Decks gallery. It’s been there since 2015 when I created it, but I posted a lot of in progress shots to Instagram but never really posted it anywhere else. I just posted to Behance with it, so hey, why not share here, too?

Bisecting, 2016, In Progress Shots

March 9, 2016

This work was an interesting one and was a lot different from what I usually do. I started with this idea of two people making up the majority of a third person. I wasn’t sure how to go about it, so I started sketching some ideas. A big thing I had in mind was a venn diagram, or some sort of overlapping shapes that made up the whole. I did a lot of messing around trying to figure out the shapes and how they should go.
