If you follow me on social media, you may already know that I like to participate in Inktober every year. If you don’t know about Inktober, essentially it’s a drawing-a-day project meant to just keep you drawing. There’s not really any official rules to it, but some people come up with themes or prompts for things to draw each day. I’ve been really into coming up with highly detailed drawings lately, as you can see with works like “Decomposition” (2015), and “Neverending (This Isn’t Over)” (2015). For some reason, despite the fact that I can get fidgety working on these, I like putting in the effort and pushing myself to slow down. I also have been doing a lot of traditional ink work and going back to my comic book roots in doing so.
