Upcoming Exhibits & Publications: Infected By Art IX, Mo(ve)ment

January 23, 2021

I’m excited to announce that I’m going to be partaking in two exciting things!

Infected By Art IX

The first announcement is pretty big, in my opinion. My work “The Wicked Woods” was juried for inclusion in the latest physical print publication Infected By Art IX. Infected By Art is a yearly competition with a compilation book, filled to the brim with amazing and fantastic artwork centering around sci-fi, horror, and fantasy illustration. The competition is fierce. This is my fifth year in a row entering, and my first time ever getting a work selected for inclusion. The compilation book will be available to order from Infected By Art soon — I’ll keep you notified for when you can order your copy!

Urban Arts Gallery is a non-profit gallery located in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the venue of the Urban Arts Alliance. Showcasing contemporary works, Urban Arts Gallery usually prefers to share works from local artists, but was kind enough to allow my work, “The Wolves Descend”, to be included in their February 2021 show “Mo(ve)ment”.

MO(VE)MENT is a collection of art for social justice and change. This includes art exploring such issues as systemic racism and sexism, environmentalism and climate change, or political division and disengagement, among many other possibilities.

The show will be on display until February 28th, 2021, so if you’re in Salt Lake City, Utah, make sure to stop by and take a look!

I’m over the moon to share these two wonderful acceptances with you. I hope you get to enjoy either or both. Here’s to hopefully many more!
