It’s been a fairly productive March! I wanted to detail some fun things that have been going on and some things still coming up!
Continue reading Enamel Pins, WIPs & More – April 2019I have just started a Kickstarter (Live TODAY) to attempt to create my very first ever soft enamel pins. I’ve always wanted to make something like this, and finally decided and came up with a design that could easily be converted into an enamel pin!
In the original Blade Runner, Gaff folds up tiny origami animals. By the end of the film, he leaves a tiny origami unicorn in front of Deckard’s front door, implying the he knew about Deckard’s dreams of a unicorn, leaving years and years of debate in the fandom over whether or not Deckard himself is a replicant.
When K visits Gaff in Blade Runner 2049, Gaff folds up an origami sheep, which is a reference to the title of the book the Blade Runner universe is based upon – Philip K. Dick’s “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”
Since the origami unicorn has been produced by many others, I would like to produce the first origami sheep lapel pin! But don’t worry… The origami unicorn is a stretch goal. 🙂
